Benjamin Children's Ministry

BCM is founded by Benjamin Kirabo Katende in January 2018.

BCM offers more than 40 homeless children with shelter and the basic needs while they function as a warm family. The children are raised by a team with a loving heart. The team responds to present (daily) needs and emotional and physical hurts of the children. They work with the desire to give the children a hopeful future.

'The Lord's Favour' foundation visited BCM in 2018 and became their  umbrella organization in 2019. They started to help BCM with growing in their organization structure and bookkeeping as an European general benefit intended institution.

At BCM, we deeply appreciate the support we receive from our generous donors who have been instrumental in helping us provide a safe haven for the vulnerable children we care for. Our team members, who have diverse backgrounds and expertise, work tirelessly to ensure that the children's needs are met, including providing warm beds, blankets, regular meals, and access to education.

As a volunteer-based organization, we strive to use our resources judiciously, with every penny spent on the children's welfare, including their living expenses and education. We are transparent about our finances, and we encourage our supporters to explore our "Finances" tab for more information.

We understand that some donors prefer to support specific goals, such as education or healthcare. While we appreciate and welcome such support, we would like to stress the importance of consistency in our efforts to make a lasting impact. Hence, we aim to provide equal opportunities for all the children in our care, and we believe that education is a crucial component of their development. Moreover, we recently launched a football project, which aims to reduce drug addiction among street children while providing them with an opportunity to develop their football talents. This initiative has not only helped our children connect with other children in the community, but it may also open up opportunities for them in the future. We are grateful for your continued support and would be happy to work with you to find the perfect way to contribute to our cause. football academy clik this link.
